The chain conveyor consists of a head, a bottom and a variable number of intermediate parts that create the distance required for the movement of the cereal.
The head is made of thick sheet steel with an overflow indicator, the case is built with single elements bolted together with the removable bottom. The bottom is made in the same way as the head and is also completed by the system that allows the tension of the chain through special tie-rods.
The conveyor can consist of a simple, double or a receiving pit.
The motorization is usually obtained with chain transmission gearmotors, but other solutions can also be arranged according to the plant requirements.
The machine operation is given by a chain with fins of size suitable to cover the width of the conveyor case that runs on the bottom on a special guide in polizene. The chain is driven by the head by a gear wheel connected to the tail of the conveyor with a smooth return wheel. The chain is returned by means of a guide placed on the upper part of the conveyor case
