Screw conveyors enable dust-free and weather-proof transport; moreover, thanks to the limited number of components installed, these machines require minimal maintenance. The choice of materials and the dimensioning of all the components are made according to the characteristics of the product to be treated (abrasiveness, weight, granulometry, humidity, chemical aggressiveness, etc.). All head supports are dustproof, with bearings suitable to bear both radial and axial loads; on the longer conveyors there are intermediate supports, placed at such a distance as to minimize the shaft deflection due to the weight. Thanks to the presence of a company sector dedicated exclusively to the production of spirals and metal spirals, D’Agostino is able to realize, on request, machines for special applications, with shapes, sizes and materials that are not available in the standard production normally available on the market.
